Intelligent and Automatic Lift Axle Control System for Trucks SPIF compliant
The SIM is an intelligent control system that automates the management of lift axles to continuously optimize load distribution on the vehicle.
The system is based on the KILOAD K4 on-board weighing system, which continuously measures the load applied to each of the truck’s axles. Using this data, the SIM automatically adjusts the air pressure of the lift axle’s air springs in real time via a high-precision servo valve. This dynamic regulation ensures optimal load distribution according to pre-programmed parameters.
The SIM can manage up to two lift axles simultaneously.
Unlike conventional systems using a simple proportional valve, the SIM incorporates advanced control technology that helps prevent understeer and oversteer caused by poor load distribution. This results in improved vehicle stability, a reduced risk of rollovers, and significantly enhanced handling.
