SIM

The SIM is a control system that automates the management of the lifting axle. The device integrates an on-board weighing system that continuously measures the weight of each axle of the vehicle. Based on this information, the SIM regulates, through its servovalve, the pneumatic pressure in the air bags of the lifting axle in order to optimize the distribution of loads on each of the axles according to pre-programmed criteria. All these operations take place while the vehicle is in motion. The SIM prevents oversteer or understeer situations, which consequently avoids the risk of the vehicle rolling over observed on less sophisticated systems. The SIM fully meets SPIF standards, which avoids any problems with your truck insurance if there is a vehicle rollover. In addition to improving braking quality, the SIM has ensured greater safety and stability in the industry for more than two decades.
